Week 35

Image
Well my grandmother finally went home which is what she wants. I’m trying to adjust to the fact that she won’t be here much longer.  My anxiety and depression have been really high this week, with everything going on. Feels like I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster.  Tried to do leg exercises and stand every day this last week. There were a few days I couldn’t quite make it up onto my feet.  Been eating healthier meals again and trying to watch my portions.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 34

Image
Been a rough week with my grandmother going into the hospital and being diagnosed with chf. Had my anxiety and depression on overdrive.  Did leg exercises and stood up most days. Still feel really weak when I stand.  Wife started with a new client so haven’t had as many home cooked meals, but we are adjusting.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 33

Still surviving. The only thing I wish is that I had gotten a haircut before the apocalypse. Oh well if it gets too bad I’ll just cut it myself.  Managed to aggravate my shoulder making it all but impossible to sit up or stand. But it seems to be mending I was able to get myself up off the bed today and stand up for a few minutes.  My anxiety and depression have been high this week as my grandmother was diagnosed with chf and is in the hospital.  Been trying to eat better and make small changes every day to get healthy.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 32

The apocalypse continues. But life goes on.  Had a pretty rough week physically, but did ok on the emotional front.  I was still suffering the effects of popping my shoulder out. Made it very hard to sit up and standing was a chore. Chose to do leg lifts in the bed, rather than trying to pull myself up with this shoulder.  Emotionally it was an ok week I lost it a little when I found out my parents had been laid off. I am worried about mom getting her insulin. Otherwise I had a pretty good week.  Ate home cooked food most days and tried to eat smaller portions.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 31

The apocalypse continues. The world is effectively shut down.  Had an interesting week to say the least. The arm I use to help sit up, pull myself into a standing position, partially dislocated and I had to pop it back it in. Needless to say I’m tender.  This has made it very hard to stand this week as I hurt my arm Monday. That hasn’t keep me from trying and I did manage to make it up right a few days.  Been trying to increase the amount of vegetables I eat with meals and focus less on meats.  Considering I hurt my shoulder I’ve been relatively upbeat. No real emotional breakdowns this week.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 30

Image
Not a zombie yet in this apocalypse. Had a pretty good week other than somehow rolling my ankle.  Had therapy appointment this week went over all the changes going on at the clinic right now. Also went over an anxiety worksheet I had filled out.  Kept working on trying to eat better and working out within my limits.  As always feel free to comment below.

Week 29

Another week gone. There were highs and lows this week. But I survived.  First the lows, I was standing up on Monday morning and my legs gave out. I fell half on and half off the bed. Took me over a half hour to get all the way in the bed and my legs and back were sore for days. To keep it interesting, on Thursday I was trying to sit up and one of the dogs got in the way and I twisted my back hurting it again. I had an anxiety attack Friday night that kept me up most of the night.  Now for the good stuff, someone gave me a brand new rolling walker. Other than Friday I stayed positive and kept my mood in check. Couldn’t stand up a lot this week after falling, but I did do leg exercises on the bed as well as breathing exercises. Ate mostly home cooked food. Drank lots of water.  As always feel free to leave any comments down below.
